New guidance on Tier 2 and Tier 2 Workers and Students

On 15th April 2020 the UK Government announced new guidance on allowing Tier 2 and Tier 5 workers as well as Tier 4 Students to begin their work or studies before the application has been decided.

You can start work/studies before the visa application has been decided if:

• 1. You have been assigned a CoS or CAS. you submitted your application before your current visa expired;
  
• 2. You show your Sponsor evidence of this the job/study you start is the same as the one listed on your CoS/CAS;
  
• 3. If your application is eventually rejected as invalid or refused, your Sponsor will stop sponsoring you and you must stop working for them.
